A mill and overlay project is nearing completion in Lowndes County on State Route 69 from Ganderson Creek to State Route 182.  

The $1.3 million project was let in May 2024 and awarded to Falcon Contracting Company of Columbus.  The project is scheduled to be completed in fall 2024.

The contractor is working on driveway tie-ins and shoulder work.
